The world of small invertebrates will never cease to amaze us. Here I present one that has captivated me completely, the Maratus volans, a little jumping spider that when courting is a specialist and it is not for less, since life is played.
As many of you will know, jumping spiders (Family: Salticidae) they generally have bright colors and a very sharp sight, essential to stalk and quickly jump over their prey, since they do not weave fabrics to catch insects.
Though only eight species have been described So far, another 20 are known, all of them in Australia. Dr. in entomology Jürgen Otto, made a series of films about this type of spiders, very fun to watch. I hope you think the same.
